Stel+Mar, a relatively new wine brand has been making waves, particularly among the under-40 demographic. While the wines originate from the renowned vineyards of California, the brand’s intriguing story begins unexpectedly in Toronto, Canada, where the partners were introduced by their children, Stella and Marcus, giving rise to the brand’s distinctive name.
A notable aspect contributing to Stel+Mar’s rising success is its combination of approachable wines and captivating label artwork that embodies a relaxed California vibe. Take, for instance, the Stel+Mar Cabernet Sauvignon label, which showcases a beach-themed scene featuring a well-tanned woman in a swimsuit and floppy-brimmed hat, leisurely walking her dog against a backdrop of gently crashing waves. This beachy scene dominates the label, leaving only a minimalistic bottom border that showcases the brand name, varietal, origin, and vintage.
