Brilla! Prosecco

Daryl Woods Publisher/Reviewer

It sparkles. It shines. It is Brilla! Prosecco. Every element of this package effusively expresses the experience of sparkling wine.

The frosty blue label literally sparkles. So brilliantly you’d be excused for missing the tiny diamond above the product name. Exclamation marks are used excessively these days but it seems appropriate for Brilla!. I’m not sure why the label is split into two panels. The lower one indicates that this is Prosecco DOC. The words Brilla! and Prosecco are too close in size for proper hierarchy but that’s a minor point. On opposite sides of the upper label are the expressions “Italian Touch” and “Italian Taste”. They are barely readable against the sparkly blue background and are inconsequential.

If the label doesn’t grab your attention the bottle certainly will. The paisley pattern that pops from the glass may seem odd for an Italian wine but it dances it’s way around the entire bottle like bursting bubbles. The effect is both differentiating and desirable.

The frosty blue of the label repeats on the capsule with a metallic shimmer. The blue is also used on the back label minus the sparkles. Nothing to see here but required information that needs to be readable.

Brilla! is an extra dry premium Prosecco but still less than half the price of Champagne. Released in this market in December it will likely sell out quickly. The showy package will impress for entertaining and the quality of the wine will not disappoint.
